Arch-Viz 2025

Modelling, lighting and rendering

Tropical residential and hospitality work: exteriors, interiors and night shots.

  • Timber, bamboo and stone architecture, with the planting doing much of the work in frame.
  • Series produced in 3ds Max with V-Ray, plus pieces resolved in Unreal Engine.

Multifamily

Modelling, lighting and real-time rendering

Residential communities, amenity buildings and aerials, modelled in Maya and resolved in Unreal Engine.

  • Ground-floor retail, pools, courts and parking: the whole community rather than the hero shot.
  • Dusk and night lighting, which is when this kind of scheme sells.
  • Built in a real-time engine rather than offline: the same scene later serves an interactive walkthrough.

  • Modelling, rigs, animation and scene assembly in Unreal Engine.
  • Six commissions with a full pipeline: storyboard, 3D, compositing, After Effects and final delivery.
  • Rendered in separate passes — final image, no-FX, action layers — to composite with control rather than solving everything in engine.

unreal-mcp

Author

MCP server that drives a running Unreal Engine editor.

  • Implements Epic's Python Remote Execution protocol: UDP multicast discovery plus a TCP channel to run Python inside the editor.
  • The protocol client is not vendored: it is located inside the engine installation at runtime, so it survives engine version changes.
  • Scans the standard paths on Windows, macOS and Linux, and honours UNREAL_ENGINE_ROOT.
